Hey guys, wondering if any one has any trick on removing 1/2" fry from there parents tank. Ive tried to siphon them but they swam right out. I tried to net them for about 1 hour but I only got about 5 fry with that method. The only thing that I found to work is leaveing a few nets in the tank, they seemed to like to hide in the nets so I got about half of them out.
The reason Im removing them is that the female layed a bunch more eggs and the male seems quite mad, never seen him so aggressive or so colorful. He was a bright gold/yellow with blueish fins. The most beautiful cichlid Ive ever had, just hoping the pics come out good.

thanks guys

Things are going quite well with the fry. Ive got about 90-110 in a 20g for now, the largest of the fry are close to 3/4".
I feed them about 8 times a day and do a 10-15% water change every morning.
Thanks for asking.
